GISCOE have partnered with Cityworks to offer our municipality and utility clients a more customised, stream-lined technical solution for asset mapping and the ongoing maintenance of those assets. Assets on the ground are geo-referenced using mobile field capture tools and then uploaded into a well-structured, standardised GIS. The Cityworks application then allows for both ad-hoc and planned inspections, maintenance and other activities to be scheduled, work orders generated & allocated, and then the resultant updated features, locations and attributes from the field, will be used to keep the corporate spatial database up to date.
